We started the session with the full extended family—grandparents, grandkids, siblings, and the whole crew together for a quick mini session before shifting into a more relaxed full family session with just the Hannah family. I always love when families carve out time for both. Those larger group photos become more meaningful every year, even if getting everyone looking in the same direction at once feels slightly impossible in the moment.

The generation photos matter. The cousins growing up together matter. But so do the quieter moments once everyone else steps away—the kids running through the grass, parents trying not to laugh while wrangling everyone back together, and the connection that shows up naturally in between poses.
