Karli and Conor Fritz | Intimate Wedding at Mt. Airy Arboretum | Cincinnati Wedding

Karli and Conor’s intimate wedding at Mt. Airy Arboretum in Cincinnati felt less like a production and more like a deep exhale.

With only their parents present, their ceremony inside Vasey Garden was quiet, personal, and centered completely around the people who matter most to them. The whole evening carried this calm steadiness to it—the kind that comes from two people who genuinely make each other feel loved.

One of my favorite things about photographing smaller weddings is how much room there is for real emotion. Nothing felt rushed. Nothing felt performative. Karli and Conor spent most of the evening exactly the way they hoped they would: simply enjoying each other.

Karli told me the final transmission from the Fitzgerald before it sank was, “We’re holding our own,” and after everything they’d just been through, that phrase stayed with them.Honestly, knowing that part of their story made their wedding day feel even more grounded. There was such a quiet tenderness between them all evening long. Holding each other. <3

Karli and Conor, thank you for trusting me with such an honest and meaningful part of your story.
