avel to locations often to scout areas for my client scheduled sessions. Before my last sessions at Sharon Woods, my parents agreed to meet me there with my daughter (Thanks for watching her while I was at work) and I had a little mini shoot with them. It was awesome to get some test subjects while scouting, and I know Ill cherish these photos for years and years.
It was so fun to capture the Helms families fall pictures at Sharon Woods. I especially love how sweet Aubrey and Lauren were with each other. They were down to snuggle (and naruto run) for sibling pictures and did a good job hyping each other up for their individual portraits too!
I met the Saadallah family at Sharon Woods for their first-ever family pictures. It was so fun capturing these four and their connection. They did an excellent job for a first-ever session.
The Horn family met me at Sharon Woods for their families fall mini pictures. It was so great seeing them again and getting to see how much miss Mattie has grown since her newborn pictures.
Theo was NOT feeling pictures for his 18-month photos. Which honestly, has strong 18-month-old vibes to me! Ev was told she didn’t have to get her picture taken at all, so naturally she was on it! We had a mini shoot while Theo felt his feelings. After a few sniffles and Tears Theo let me get a few of him just living his life.
Its always great to see The Whitehouse and The Dean families for their family pictures. Last year we tried doing a combined extended family session to get all of the cousins in a shot and include their parents too.
Their gallery is giving me Hallmark Christmas movie vibes! Before the Bahakel’s session I was thinking that I should have found some misstletoe. However, no props were needed to capture these two for their Christmas mini session. It was so easy to capture them.
It was so fun seeing the Tulley Family again after capturing Maeves newborn photos. This time we met at a Christmas Tree farm to capture some Christmas family photos.
September is my birthday month and so my husband and my business bank account decided to splurge on a camera I have had in my cart for a year. I stayed in the canon family, but moved from a 5d Mark IV to a r5 , their mirrorless. Before my sessions I wanted to make sure I played around with it for shooting and editing and make sure I am super comfortable. Whenever I need a touch subject to focus on I grab Eleanor, because she sits still and looks at me less than any of your kids 😛
It was so fun third-wheeling it with Hannah and Talon for their engagement pictures at Alms Park. It was so fun exploring a place I haven’t been to too many times with them and talking about their upcoming wedding day.
The Koopman family were the only family willing to meet in the heat of August for Augusts mini sessions. So I let them pick between two locations, and Washington Park in Over the Rhine was the winner. Their Double mini session was divided into one family mini session, and one cash smash mini session. It was so fun exploring with them and capturing their little wild one.
Calvin was shy for the few minute or two of our session but then was all dimples and big cheeks for the rest of our time together exploring at sunset. 😀
I am always down for a challenge, just like Alicia as a mom of three boys. 😛 Chasing them around for their mini session and getting all three in one frame did prove to be hard. But the ones of them running off in the background may be my favorite anyway.
My favorite images to captures are mamas and their little ones. So Mama and Me mini sessions are always my favorite. These two cuties passed out in the car and were super sleepy for our session, but it made for some beautiful snuggle shots.
Alanna reached out to me about capturing couples pictures for her parents, Jim and Tracey. Jim had mentioned wanting to have updated pictures of the two of them and Alanna came through with a great gift.
I love getting to see my families over the years for the annual picture sessions. It is so fun to see the kiddoas as they grow, but some things never change – like those dimples. Seeing the Mayer family at Ault park, again, for their session I had to go into the archives and see the throwback.
Whenever Clients refer their bffs my way I always feel like I already know them. This was definitely true for Kate’s maternity and family double mini session. It was so fun capturing their family of three before they add their newest member. <3
I met the Troupe family at Ault park for their mini family session. Melissa let me know that her main goal was getting that perfect group shot of everyone and it was so easy with this crew.
I met the Moore family at their home in Milford, Ohio to capture newborn pictures of their sweet baby boy. Of we course, we had to include their two doggos in on the action as well. They definitely understood the assignment, all smiles !
The Kruetzkamp family invited me to their home in Montgomery,Ohio to capture newborn photos of their baby boy Cedar. It was so fun to see them again and capture Aurora as a big sister!
