There’s something so special about returning to a home you’ve photographed before. I first met the Gedert family five years ago when their daughter, Emily, was born — and this fall, I had the joy of coming back to capture their newest chapter with baby Jake.
The session took place in the same nursery we used for Emily’s newborn photos — only now, it’s been lovingly redecorated in shades of green and blue, ready for her baby brother. Emily was so proud in her new role as big sister, she got the only big smile of the day. 🙂
