Rainy dont don’t always make for great light, but sometimes they make for the coziest newborn sessions—and that was definitely the case when I met this sweet family of four in their Madeira, Ohio home to welcome baby girl Nora.
The focus of this session was on connection—moments of joy, newness, and the beautiful chaos that comes with becoming a family of four. Big brother Oliver (almost 3!) started off a little shy, but with some gentle warming up and silly moments, we got those real laughs I love to capture. By the end of the session, he was all smiles, showing off his new role with such pride.
This wasn’t my first session with this crew, and it’s always such a joy to return to families I’ve worked with before. There’s something so special about being invited back to document these milestones. From maternity or firstborn sessions to welcoming a second baby home—it’s truly an honor to witness and photograph it all.
